Challenge

Even with lodging services ranging from luxury hotel experiences to budget stays at its more than 7,000 hotels in over 40 countries, Choice Hotels International still had a problem to face: the difficulty of increasing direct booking opportunities. But where to start without overspending during a pandemic that the business had never faced before?

Solution

The chain found Zoox’s Smart Wifi to be the answer not only to improving customers’ experience in accessing WiFi, but also to learn even more about their preferences and needs. In addition to communicating directly with guests via WiFi, visualization dashboards demonstrate the effectiveness of segmented offers with data.
In this project, Zoox used a unique integration API (Application Programming Interface) to overlay Choice’s existing WiFi at zero cost and developed custom homepages.
