Challenge

In Mexico, the fast food chain Burger King decided to bet on a different recipe and added technology to the menu. In partnership with Zoox, BK MX sought to get to know its customers better and deliver promotions and personalized communications through Smart Wi-Fi.

Solution

To understand more about user behavior, we customized the entire network’s Wi-Fi access screen and included a quick survey to the first visitors. On a second visit from the customer with that device IP, Zoox technology recognizes him or her and he or she does not go through the survey again, but receives a promotion, discount, or advantage aligned to their profile – according to what they answered in the survey.
Thus, cross sell and up sell opportunities are amplified by appealing to the customer’s already identified desires. Burger King’s bet to reduce queues through mobile ordering also allows users to be impacted by accessing the QR Code available in stores.
